Kate + Ryan

You can tell when a wedding comes from the heart of two people, when it's not a "package" they've selected. When instead of one person telling the other person how it's going to go, they both build it together. Kate and Ryan literally helped build their venue on her parent's land. They grew the gourds that decorated the tables on her parents' farm. Each part of the day from their hand written vows to the hooch a family friend brought over and served to every guest (of age!) was hand crafted. And even so, all of these incredibly wonderful details were but drops in a bucket when compared to the deep, rich love that overflowed from them both.

Summer + Mike - Sneak Peek

Summer and Mike are tough. Beautiful people, but equally tough people. It may have been 20 below on their wedding day, but that didn't stop them or their entire families from braving the cold for outside portraits. And there's nothing like sub zero temps to bring people together, literally, for warmth.

Alli + Miko

It's entirely possible that joy radiated from Alli from the moment her eyes opened on the wedding day. She was completely at ease the whole day, perhaps because she knew that marrying into a Serbian family would mean a life full of dancing, laughter, and food. Or perhaps it was because Miko has a way of making everyone around him smile. Either way, it was a blast to shoot these two and find ourselves tearing up with laughter multiple times throughout this joy filled day.

Teresa + Josh - Sneak Peek

Snow fell in the morning and by the evening we were covered in sweat on the dance floor. You could say it was a good day witnessing Teresa and Josh get married this weekend.

Kate + Ryan - Sneak Peek

The rain held off until the ceremony ended and everyone could get cozy in the barn Kate and Ryan built with her parents. That was the beautiful thing, though, everyone, including the weather, pitched in to make sure the day couldn't have been better.

Cheryl + Matt - Favorite Photos

We want to create images that people will cherish long past the day they were taken. We hope that every time a couple goes back through their photos, they can actually feel the love and joy from the day, like a time capsule that transports them back to their wedding if only for a few moments.

In this series, we're giving couples the opportunity to share their favorite photos from their wedding.

The snowfall. That background. Matt’s face. These are the reasons I love this picture. This moment was captured right after I read my vows. It is a rare occurrence to see such a strong man look like that. In that fleeting second, he looked so overwhelmingly happy and I looked and him with strength and faith in our future. It’s simple, raw, and the looks in our eyes I hope to have again and again in our long love together.

This is her, the one, and it’s hard for me to look at this picture and imagine anything else but the happiness in her face. Honestly I don’t remember taking this picture, but it is very special to me. It reminds me of how simple love can be. Sometimes love is just pure joy. It’s really that simple when it’s that pure. The look on my wife’s face reminds me of that joy and it is the same way we look at our young daughter. This picture warms my heart and reminds me just exactly how excited we were to become husband and wife.
