Monday-ing - August 10
I'm sitting at my desk and looking out the window at a beautiful Monday afternoon scene, thinking about what a great week it was. Here's why:
Making pizza. Lots of pizza. I just got a pizza stone. It's basically a huge clay disc that you put in your oven and when you bake a pizza on it, you get that perfect chewy yet crispy crust. Well, most of the time. I'm still working on my technique.
Second shooting a wedding with Kensie Wallner, another photographer in the area. It's been quite a while since I've been the second photographer at a wedding and it's always fascinating to see the different ways that we work and capture the day.
Loving that no matter where the wedding is at in North Dakota, it's always safe to assume that you'll come across someone you know there.
Playing horseshoes and realizing that I'm complete rubbish at horseshoes.
Wondering why eggs are suddenly way more expensive in Fargo at the moment. Either way, brown eggs are super fun. Each one a little different than the other. The little things, you know?
Planning a couple of really awesome projects! Unfortunately, I can't talk about them quite yet. I know, I hate teasers as much as anyone, but I seriously can't wait to tell people what's coming. Real soon!
